En kväll när Göran ligger sjuk i sin säng får han – just när skymningen faller – besök av en märklig figur vid namn Herr Liljonkvast, som tar med honom på ett äventyr över hustaken.
I det magiska Skymningslandet möter Göran spårvagnar som går på vattnet, djur som talar och en Kung och en Drottning som sjunger sånger han aldrig tidigare hört.
Astrid Lindgrens berättelser lovsjunger alltid fantasins möjligheter – och denna berättelse är inget undantag. Genom dockor och ett magiskt scenrum tar sagan form tillsammans med mimiskt formspråk & nyskapad musik.
