Vid millennieskiftet för snart 20 år sedan stoden den europiska socialdemokratin stark och ledde 11 av 15 regeringar. Därefter har situationen förändrats totalt och idag finns det endast 3 regeringar med svagt S-inslag: Sverige, Tyskland och Spanien. De senaste valen i Österrike, Italien, Frankrike och Holland har slutat med katastrofalt låga siffror och det ser inte hoppfullt ut i Sverige heller. Och Östeuropa ska vi inte prata om!
Vad beror detta på och hur ser framtiden ut i Europa för Socialdemokratin?
