Erik Gullbransson född 1964 i Århus, Danmark. Debuterade på den professionella scenen som 17 åring med Nefertiti Concert Big Band och konsertturné med den danske trumpetaren Palle Mikkelborg. Spelade eller sjöng, under 80/90-talen, i diverse band, allt från pop och showbandet Nick Noye till jazz/underhållningsmusik i olika konstellationer.
Som musikalartist har han medverkat i en lång rad musikalproduktioner. Med roller i Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Miss Saigon, Mozart, Blodsbröder, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls , No way to treat a lady, Billy Elliot, West Side Story, Spelman på taket, Skönheten och odjuret, Sound of Music, Så som i himmelen m.fl.
En mångsidig artist, sångare, skådespelare och en återkommande gäst hos orkestrar och storband runt om i landet bl.a flitigt anlitad av Bohuslän Big Band.
UtopiaJazz är väldigt stolta och glada över att få presentera Erik Gullbransson i ett intimt klubbsamnanhang tillsammans med en noga utvald Kvartett bestående av några av Sveriges främsta jazzmusiker. Extra roligt är att vi får möjlighet att höra Erik tillsammans med sin oerhört talangfulla och begåvade son Mauritz Gullbransson på trummor.
