Korgossarna bjuder in till höstkonsert! Vi har den här kvällen glädjen att sjunga tillsammans med en fantastisk stråkkvintett. På programmet finns musik som är skriven för just den här sättningen, men också ett och annat arrangemang tillfället till ära!
Ett
stycke som vår dirigent Rebecka länge har sneglat på är Franz Schuberts
Gesang der Geister über den Wassern. Nu är det äntligen dags! I den här
konserten kommer vi att framföra detta mäktiga stycke för manskör, två
viola, två celli och kontrabas. Dikten som Schubert tonsatt är av Johann
Wolfgang von Goethe och är en beskrivning av hur människans själ och
livsresa liknar vattnets - bitvis tar det formen av en stilla porlande
bäck över en vacker äng, bitvis en forsande flod över klippor och nedför
stup. Vattnet återkommer sedan alltid till den plats där det en gång
var och cirkulerar i ett evigt kretslopp. Detta är fantastisk poesi
tonsatt av en av musikhistoriens mästare.
Vi sjunger också några ytterligare stycken av Schubert samt delar ur Felix Mendelssohns vackra Vespergesang Op. 121. Hildor Lundvik och Selim Palmgren finns också där - allt i en anda av höstrusk, vattenstänk och längtan in i värmen.
