Dramakvarnens kursverksamhet presenterar stolt denna elevproduktion under regi och ledning av Michael Hamory.
A Clockwork Orange är från början en roman skriven av Anthony Burgess 1962. Historien blev dock som mest känd då den filmatiserades av den legendariske filmskaparen Stanley Kubrick 1971. Pjäsen skrevs sedan 1987 av Anthony Burgess. Den har översatts till svenska och spelats på bl.a. Dramaten.
Historien är en framtidsvision om ungdomens hejdlösa våld och samhällets skeptiska rehabilitering mot det. Den skildrar ett samhälle som förfaller utan solidaritet och medlidande, och riktar en smalbensspark mot det politiska etablissemanget.
