Expect a euphoric and transforming journey through brand new music and timeless classics with one of the most charming live-bands on the planet. The ever-exploring Danish band has been releasing acclaimed albums since 2004, and ingeniously weave together elements from pop, indie-rock, post-rock, and electronic music.
Efterklang has a special gift for creating concert experiences that are inclusive and inspiring as well as experimental and highly ambitious. The three childhood friends and founding band members (Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, Rasmus Stolberg) will be joined by Finnish drummer Tatu Rönkkö and special guests on stage.
Supporting is Funny Weather, a new project from Fredrik Wallin from Little Dragon.
Fred Wallin, basist och producent i Little Dragon, kommer med sitt soloprojekt Funny Weather som
officiell supportakt för det hyllade danska bandet Efterklang. Turnén sveper över Östersjön, Finland,
Sverige och Norge, startar i december och sammanfaller med releasen av en ny singel från det
efterlängtade självbetitlade debutalbumet.
Efter att ha släppt sin debut-EP, Banner of a Lost Belief, med singeln One Day, är Wallin nu redo att återvända
med sitt självbetitlade album Funny Weather, som släpps tidigt 2024. Detta album dyker djupare in i hans
personliga låtskrivande och kombinerar signatur produktioner med influenser från elektroniska, soul- och
folkmusik traditioner världen över.
Albumet innehåller spännande samarbeten, inklusive den Chicago-baserade stigande stjärnan Evann McIntosh
och tunga musiker från Leon Bridges band. Fans av Little Dragon kommer att känna igen sig och uppskatta
bidrag från Wallins bandkamrater, som medverkar på olika sätt genom skivan.
Skivan är mixad av Joe Harling ( Tears for Fears, etc) Mastrad av Heba Kadry (Björk, Bon Iver, Big thief)
Med detta självbetitlade album fortsätter Wallin att tänja på kreativa gränser samtidigt som han håller fast vid den
suggestiva lyrik som präglar Funny Weather. Det är en oförutsägbar blandning av en personlig berättelse och
genre lös experiment, som fångar Wallins röst som en artist under utveckling.
