Skrift fortsätter sin samtalsserie om drifter, drömmar och begär, där vi undersöker hur dessa aktiveras, gestaltats och bearbetas i litteraturen.
Under denna andra kväll samtalar Mattias Hagberg med översättaren Helena Fagertun som precis översatt några av Shirley Jacksons mest berömda noveller. Bland annat novellen Lotteriet som väckte ramaskri när den publicerade i The New Yorker 1948 för sin skildring av människans djupaste och mest brutala driftter.
Martin Engberg samtalar med Ulrika Knutson och Yukiko Duke om Patricia Highsmiths Mr Ripley. Mannen med de många talangerna som är fylld av ett begär att skapa sig ett liv bland sköna ting och rika, vackra människor.
