När den sociala oron i staden kokar och miljöförstöringarna gör New Delhis himmel allt mörkare har bröderna Nadeem och Saud gjort det till sin livsuppgift att rädda ett offer för de oroliga tiderna: den bruna gladan. I ett provisoriskt fågelsjukhus i en källare spenderar “the kite brothers” dag och natt med att sköta om gladorna. Sen utforskar relationen mellan gladorna och bröderna som hjälper dem att flyga igen och presenterar en fängslande berättelse om samexistens mellan olika arter.
