Doc Lounge Göteborg presenterar stolt: SPEED SISTERS, där vi får möta Mellanösterns första racingteam bestående av enbart kvinnor. Den minimalistiska indierockduon PALE HONEY spelar och i dj-båset står PSYKFLATAN! En helkväll med andra ord!

Speed Sisters slår hål på västerländska stereotyper om både kvinnor i Mellanöstern och vardagslivet under ockupationen på Västbanken. Den här debutfilmen av dokumentärfilmaren Amber Fares levererar ett uppiggande och publikfriande porträtt av fyra unga palestinska kvinnor som bryter ny mark i en mansdominerad sport och kultur.

LIVE: Vi är otroligt glada att presentera PALE HONEY som gör en av sina sällsynta spelningar på hemmaplan. Göteborgsduon som består av Tuva Lodmark och Nelly Daltrey gör minimalistisk indierock som ger mersmak. De släppte sitt debutalbum i maj, har turnerat Europa runt och fått god kritik i internationella medier.

DJ: När DJ Psykflatan tar över högtalarna fylls de med kontraster av stort och smått, luddigt och hårt, tungt och lätt. Allt från elektroniskt och postrock till hiphop och kommersiell pop. Alltid med en förkärlek för normbrytande uttryck.
