    Sheng-Ying Isabella Weng, doktorand i musikpedagogik, lägger fram avhandlingen ”String Intonation: Personal Expression and Pedagogical Challenges.” Hennes forskning, som har för syfte att överbrygga vetenskap och konstnärlig praktik, har genomförts inom KMH:s samarbete med Lunds universitet. 

    Sammanläggningsavhandlingen inkluderar fyra forskningsstudier som var och en undersöker intonationsfrågan utifrån olika perspektiv. Genom att synliggöra skickliga stråkmusikers implicita kunskaper med hjälp av vetenskapliga mätningar och analyser, kan denna forskning förse med potentiellt nya infallsvinklar och förståelser för intonationspraxis, och därav nya verktyg till stråkpedagogers och musikers dagliga arbete.
