Det är få som haft en sådan stor influens på en hel musikgenre som Dillinja har. Med sina råa, orgasmframkallande basslingor och supertighta beats är Dillinja en av de inom drum’n’bass-scenen som trovärdigt kan bära epiteten legend, nyskapare och mästare på ljud. Bokstavligen.
Inget annat är kanske att vänta av en som började sin musikaliska bana genom att bygga riktiga soundsystems, upplärd av killen som bland annat skapat den mighty Jah Shakas sound. Dillinja har levererat klassiker på Metalheadz, V Recordings och Prototype och släppte även albumet ”Cybotron” via London Records. Faktum är att vid blott 23 bast uppnådda, hade han redan 50 releaser bakom sig.
Tillsammans med Lemon D grundade han Valve Recordings, som fortfarande är ett av de mest respekterade skivbolagen, där talanger som Breakage, TC och High Contras lyfts fram.
Dillinja har alltid lyckats balansera det bästa från sina rötter med nya uttryck. Hans passion för musiken är lika intensiv som åren när han började, och för att musiken ska upplevas på allra bästa sätt har han dessutom byggt ett alldeles eget sound, Valve Sound System, som han när det är möjligt har med sig.
Men oavsett om han DJ;ar på Valve eller annat, är det garanterat en av de tyngsta upplevelser en kan ta del av.
