Diederik Nomden and Ralph Mulder have known each other since their teenage years, when they first ventured into music by singing and writing songs together.
After their first band Redivider broke up, each followed his own path: Nomden launched a solo career, while Mulder became the frontman and songwriter for the indie rock band Alamo Race Track, which he founded.
In addition to being a musician, Mulder is a passionate birdwatcher and gardener—two pursuits that feed his creativity. Nomden finds joy not only in making music, but also in traveling and playing football.
Alamo Race Track released five albums, with Greetings from Tear Valley and the Diamond Ae being the most recent. The band has been a welcome guest on club and festival stages both in the Netherlands and abroad.
Diederik Nomden released four solo albums, the latest being Sooner/Later in 2025. He too has performed internationally, captivating audiences with his intimate and deeply personal shows.
After many years of working separately, the childhood friends have recently reunited.
This summer, they’re heading out on tour through Sweden, performing stripped-down versions of their own songs, interspersed with covers of their favorite artists.
Alongside their renowned vocal harmonies, the two Dutchmen are known for their ability to charm audiences with humorous anecdotes and a relaxed stage presence.
