Välkomna på Höga Kusten Operas stora avslutning. I år sätter vi upp Purcells mästerverk Dido och Aeneas som har spelats oräkneliga gånger runt om i världen.
Operan är skriven 1689 och räknas som en av de mest kända barockoperorna. Vi får möta Aeneas som har flytt från Troja och funnit en tillflykt i Kartago. Dido älskar trojanen, men anar olycka och är rädd för att bekänna sina känslor.
