PSB was formed in May 2013. The members had their early roots in psychedelic music, but decided that it wasn’t as much fun playing it live compared to being the loud and wild rebels they are.
Their true rock n’ roll sound is influenced by 60′s garage and punk. After releasing demos on a lo-fi 50 copy cassette called Trash from the Boys they were nominated for the Nordic Music Prize and named the best live band in Iceland by The Reykjavík Grapevine. In April 2015 their second debut called Hits #1 has been released on vinyl by record label 12 Tónar. Trash from the Boys was nominated for The Nordic Awards at BY:LARM in Norway. Pink Street Boys also got a rewarded for being the best live band in Iceland 2014, award given by The Reykjavik Grapevine.
They played at ATP Iceland 2015.
