I slutet av 2014 startade Dennis sitt soloprojekt och har sedan dess gjort drygt 100 spelningar i Sverige, Ryssland, och USA.

Under 2016 släppte Dennis Kalla sin debut-EP "The Ones That Matter" med låtar som plockats upp på Aftonbladets bäst just nu-lista, några av Sveriges största Spotifylistor, och på studentradiostationer runt om i landet. EPn hyllades även av musikbloggar utanför Sverige.
