I september 2016 släppte David sitt tredje soloalbum Hidden Light (Volkoren)i samarbete med bl a Nicolai Dunger, Sofia Jernberg och Svante Henryson. På Oceanen uppträder David tillsammans med musikerna Andreaz Hedén - piano, Jonas Nilsson - kontrabas och Marien Okkerse - cello.
