Bröderna Dana och Alden McWayne, uppvuxna i en musikalisk familj i Eugene, Oregon, skapar en unik fusion av jazz och indie. Inspirerade av barndomens soliga dagar på äppelodlingar och regniga kvällar på jazzklubbar, har de utvecklat ett sound som förenar tradition och nytänkande.
Dana, saxofonist och ekologisk inspektör i Durham, NC, har spelat på jazzklubbar sedan unga år, medan Alden, nyligen utexaminerad från Berklee College of Music, driver musiken framåt med sitt dynamiska trumspel.
Deras debutalbum, Quiet Music for Young People, fick stor uppmärksamhet, och deras virala låtar har snabbt gjort dem till en sensation på IG och Tiktok. Under inspelningen av sitt andra album Coyote, You’re My Star samarbetade de med producenten Jared Solomon (känd för sitt arbete med SZA och Remi Wolf), vilket ytterligare stärkte deras unika uttryck.
Nu gör Dana & Alden sina första två spelningar i Sverige – en chans att uppleva deras smittande energi och innovativa jazz på nära håll!
