Stig Vig satte som låtskrivare, basist och frontman i Dag Vag ett både personligt och betydelsefullt avtryck inom svensk rockmusik. I över 30 år ledde han bandet som förändrade och vitaliserade den svenska musikscenen.
Onsdagen 17 juni på Mosebacketerrassen delar Stig Vigs Minnesfond ut stipendiet "Det Gyldene Benet" under högtidliga former till mottagare som "verkar i Stig Vigs anda". I samband med detta anordnas det en hyllningskonsert till Stig Vigs (Per Odeltorp) ära. Årets evenemang blir det fjärde i ordningen och betraktas av fler och fler som en självklar tradition.
Dag Vag kommer som vanligt vara husband och få besök på scen av en mängd gästartister. Redan klara för i år är Ebbot, Kajsa Grytt, Mattias Hellberg, Sture (Svenska Akademien), Kent Norberg (Sator), Bosse Skoglund & Pohn Jettri samt Ringo Franco med bl.a. Papa Dee & Conny Bloom.
Stipendiet består av en summa pengar från Stig Vigs minnesfond samt ett diplom och ett smycke föreställande ett gyllene ben. Tidigare mottagare av "Det Gyldene Benet" är:

2014: Bosse Skoglund & Pohn Jettri och Joakim Pirinen
