Välkomna till Kärnan den 18 november och en oslagbart creepy kväll med Doc Lounge Helsingborg! Unik specialvisning av ”Curse of the Blair Witch” och innan filmen möts vi av Loljud i ett dansant eko, fantasmagoriska videoprojektioner - en resa för sinne och hjärta. För den som inte kan få nog har vi också konsoller på plats för att bli skrämd i VR (virtual reality).
1999 skrevs skräckfilmshistoria. ”The Blair Witch Project” myntade begreppet ”foundfootage” ochskrämde livet ur lika många som den gjorde förbannad med sin skakiga handkamera. Att filmen blev kult beror mycket på att den marknadsfördes som en dokumentär. Det började spridas tidningsartiklar om de försvunna studenterna, som senare också listades döda på världens största filmsajt IMDB. Dessutom gjordes en mockumentär om mockumentären - ”Curse of the Blair Witch.” Följ med på en djupdykning i Blair Witch-legenden. Se intervjuer med studenternas familj och vänner och hänförs igen av hur tre handkameror kunde ge upphov till en av världens mest lönsamma filmproduktioner någonsin.

LIVEMUSIK MED LOLJUD
Loljud, likt lodjuret, vandrar ensam i ständig rörelse. På vägen samlar hon organiska ljud, som tillsammans med samplade trummor, syntar, astral sång och magnetiska texter skapar experimentell elektronisk pop som flimrar genom täta viskande skogar, snötäckta fantasiöknar och gnistrande magiska rymder.
Vårt medeltida borgtorn tillåter endast 30 besökare åt gången, vi kör därför två visningar efter varandra. Fri entré, förboka din plats.

Arrangemanget är del av Helsingborgs Kulturvecka som pågår mellan 11 och 19 november. VR-utrustningen har vi lånat av BoostHbg.
