Amir leder årets cook-alonger den 4 juni som hålls bredvid Stora scen i Culinary Theatre. Förra året var det fart i hans uppskattade cook-alonger och han sägs vara lika taggad i år.
Laga din egen mat – En cook-along innebär att du lagar maten själv tillsammans med en känd kock. När ni är klara med matlagningen som tar drygt en timme så vidtar måltiden, som givetvis ingår i priset 245 kr, men vin eller annan passande måltidsdryck köps separat. Det är ca 4 – 5 cook-alonger per dag och det är en ny kock varje dag.
35-åriga Amir Kheirmand vann förra årets upplaga av tävlingen Sveriges Mästerkock i TV4. Han är hemmahörande i Västerås där han driver ett eget företag. Matintresse har han haft sedan barnsben, men det stora genombrottet kom i 25-årsåldern då han upptäckte andra länders matkultur. Då ändrades hans matlagning till att bli mer varierad och experimenterandet med smaker och kombinationer inleddes.
Som person är Amir nyfiken och tycker om att prova på nya saker inom mat. I framtiden hoppas Amir att han får inspirera barn och ungdomar till att bli intresserade av matlagning. Facebook | Instagram
