Cold Gawd är ett post-hardcore/showgaze-band från Kalifornien. Inspirerade av tidig nu-gaze och R&B, blown out ljudlandskap som skrapar och sprätter, extremt distat och skör, spröd änglasång kontrasterat med ångestvrål.
Självklart ligger de på Dais Records med favoriter som Drab Majesty, TR/ST, Kite och High Vis. Så vi vet såklart att detta är ren kvalitet.
De är på en co-headlinerturné med Soft Blue Shimmer. Ett alt-rockband som inte heller räds lite bona fide shoegazing. Buzzord som "lush", "dreamy" och "textures" förekommer absolut i deras biografi. Söker man på bandet så kommer förslag som Soul Glo, Touché Amoré och Drug Church upp.
Riiiiiiktigt bra stämning den 22 januari med andra ord.
