I år firar Stonecake 30 år som band och 1991 fick bandet en grammis som bästa nykomlingar för debutskivan "Under the biketree". I höst åker Stonecake ut och firar av jubileet och besöker Örebro och Club Punsch

Dom har inte varit nykomlingar hela livet. Nu är det ett tag sen vi hörde dom, men när vi hörde dom så hörde vi "Tuesday Afternoon" överallt och hela tiden. Jämt. Också mer därtill därefter. Stonecake fick en grammis som bästa nykomlingar för debutskivan "Under the biketree" 1991. Juryns motivering löd: "För det respektfulla och respektlösa utnyttjandet av välkända popklanger till en egen stentårta - grädde och granit!
"Per Bjurman beskrev det som bl.a kryddat med Led Zeppelin, Cream, Queen och Sex Pistols - Dalarnas nya supergrupp.

Punsch
Bandet från landet!
I små städer växer stora drömmar. Punsch är ett band från Bergslagen och Örebro som efter 20 år slog igenom med hiten Långlutan. Med över 160 låtar i katalogen och ett flitigt turnerande startade vi ”Club Punsch” och började berätta sagor.
Varje ny låt var också ett nytt kapitel i vår bok ”Sagan om Steve”. På så sätt skapade vi ett liveband som bjuder på skratt, allvar, dans och party! Punsch är alltid glimten i ögat och drömmen om att det ”ska gå”. Vi vill berätta om tider som varit och tider som är. Med en folkparksmentalitet tänker vi ruska om den nya tiden.
Club Punsch står för gemenskap med publik och våra artistvänner som tar vägen förbi.
I år har vi en fantastisk skara artister som tillsammans med Punsch kommer att skapa närhet och magi på en av Örebros bästa scener.
Vi tror fortfarande att tre ackord kan förändra världen om än bara för en kort stund.
När scenljuset tänds räknar Mats in, vi greppar instrumenten.
