Thanksgiving is one of the most important holidays in the US. It was originally celebrated by the Pilgrims in New England as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest, and nowadays it’s all about giving thanks for what we have – not least our families, friends & communities – and helping those who are less fortunate.
Nya Carnegiebryggeriet and The Brooklyn Brewery are pleased to invite you to celebrate this wonderful holiday with us in a truly unique fashion.
Building on the success of our three previous "Kockar & Öl" beer dinners at the brewery, we will be collaborating this time with our chef friends from Jim&Jacob to put on a spectacular four course (eight dish) Thanksgiving-inspired feast!!
And of course the evening would be far from complete without our traditional “Battle of the Breweries” - where Nya Carnegiebryggeriet & Brooklyn Brewery match one beer each to all four courses on the menu - and you get to cast your votes for the winning pairings!
In keeping with the true spirit of Thanksgiving, we will donate 20% of tickets sales to Stadsmissionen, which organizes a Thanksgiving dinner for Stockholm’s homeless every year together with The American Club of Sweden
