Malmöbaserade artisten Cecilia Nordlund har skrivit musik i ett antal olika konstellationer sedan nittiotalet. Ni minns kanske alternativa rockbandet Souls som Nordlund frontade och som turnerade i Usa och spelade in skivor med legendaren Steve Albini? Efter det har hon synts i ett flertal andra band och projekt som Monkeystrikes, Cilihili, Sunshine Rabbits och Dollykollot och gjort musik med både Marit Bergman och Fever Ray (Karin Dreijer).
Nu är Cecilia tillbaka med ett nytt band och sjunger på svenska. Cecilia Nordlund & Fullmånen Från Helvetet är ett samarbete mellan kompositören och oljudsmakaren Julia Giertz, multi-instrumentalisten och sångerskan Lotta Wenglén och cellisten Åsa Gjerstad. Tillsammans skapar de suggestiv oljudspop på svenska. Vackra cellomelodier blandas med hårda beats, drömska oljudsmattor och ödsliga gitarrslingor. Cecilias dynamiska röst och personliga texter är navet i musiken.
Bandet släpper sitt debutalbum i november och det vill vi fira på Oceanen den 15 November!
RAVEN - An Exploration Of Nightmares är en audiovisuell performance-akt där publiken bjuds in till en magisk och obehaglig värld. Genom musik/ljud, text, video, performance och scenografi återskapar Simone Wingfors sina nattliga mardrömmar. Du får följa med in i en surrealistisk upplevelse där ljudbilden pendlar mellan vackra ljudlandskap och suggestiva besvärjelser uppbyggda av samplade ljud blandat med röst och loopar.
