konsert med Bror Gunnar Jansson är en resa genom tid och genre – från
svängig countryblues och rå southern gothic till mörka, gåtfulla
mördarballader. Musiken sträcker sig från hans första soloalbum 2012
till ännu osläppt material, alltid med en djup förankring i amerikansk
folkmusik och berättartradition.
Kvällen
till ära har Bror Gunnar samlat en drömlik ensemble av multibegåvade
musiker: Emma Augustsson på sång, cello, klaviatur & slagverk
(1900), Love Meyerson på trummor, slagverk & dragspel (Anna von
Hausswolff, Lars Demian), Anton Svanberg på tuba, gitarr & slagverk
och Bror Gunnar själv på sång, gitarr, trummor & slagverk.
Tillsammans bildar de en orkester som ständigt skiftar skepnad – en hel
musikalisk värld på bara några få personer.

kanske har hört Bror Gunnar Janssons musik i Last Days of American
Crime, sett honom sjunga i På Spåret eller noterat hans ansikte på
omslaget till Rolling Stone Hebdo – men inget av det kommer ens i
