Genom mytologier, anekdoter, historiska fakta, Qajar-målningar, fotoarkiv i Beirut, handkolorerade fotografier samt kassett- och vinylomslag har konstnären Afrang Nordlöf Malekian, tillsammans med konstvetaren Nour Helou, utforskat Sydvästasiens och Nordafrikas skönhetsnormer. Fram träder en berättelse om skönhetshierarkiers uppgångar och fall.
