Vi befinner oss i 1500-talets England där den korta kungenHenry VIII har isolerat sitt land från omvärlden. Henrys sjätte fru har precis blivit avrättad när hovet börjar ifrågasätta hur länge de ska acceptera kungens tyranni. På sin jakt efter sin nästkommande fru stöter Henry på problem med en mutbar bödel, en klipsk detektiv och plågade konstnärssjälar.I Boelspexarnas jubileumsspex Henry VIII får vi se hur liv och död, kärlek och hat, och ett förbaskat grupptryck utspelar sig bakom slottets stängda dörrar. Vågar du se döden i vitögat i årets återuppsättning av Henry VIII?
