Albumaktuella Bavé på turné våren 2025!
Grammisvinnande Bavé är precis allt som den svenska musikscenen behöver just nu. Med förmågan att mixa psykedelisk R&B med melankolisk indie har den mångfacetterade artisten skapat ett helt eget sound. Nu är han aktuell med ny musik och våren 2025 ger han sig ut på turné.
Bavé, som vann sin första Grammis 2023 för Årets Soul/RNB, återvänder med psykedeliska R&B-singeln “Anima (Think of You)” och annonserar samtidigt sitt kommande album “Acoustics & Hood Psychedelia”. I vår tar han nya musiken ut på vägarna.
“Anima utforskar temat av ohälsosam besatthet. Det är en låt om när tankarna på en person blir så överväldigande att alla sinnen fylls av deras närvaro. I det stadiet förlorar man förmågan att tänka rationellt, trots att man vet att situationen inte är bra för en. Känslan av att vara fångad i en intensiv, nästan destruktiv längtan, där verkligheten suddas ut av ens egna fantasier och begär."
Barndomen i den segregerade Uppsalaförorten Gottsunda präglades starkt av utanförskap, tristess, musik, dans och en överbeskyddande mamma - som tidigt köpte en dator åt Bavé enbart för hålla honom borta från trubbel. Den redan då musikälskande tonåringen började använda datorn till att göra mixtapes och bränna CD-skivor till sina grannar och kusiner, med omslag han ritade själv för hand. Trots att texterna ofta är självbiografiska vill Bavé att musiken ska kunna vara ett soundtrack till andras liv, där sagovärldar får vara precis lika verkliga som något annat.
