BARA KARIN:
With her lyrics and short novels about millenials and toxic men, Bara Karin has been described as a singing version of Lena Dunham. Bara Karin is currently working on her next album and music video, this time with a feverish sound telling stories about trafficking, psychiatric care and addiction. Just like in her previous album, “I changed my voice for you”, Bara Karin experiments with her voice, as less is not always more. Her last album ”I changed my voice for you” was reviewed by Talkabout pop music, Nordik Simit, HYMN and Equalizer Magazine, among others. Together with synths and percussion, the sound of her new album can be described as space pop. Coming up next is a gig at Snotty Seaside and a spoken word-event together with Mia Svahn at Whippet Lab.

Med sina låtar om millenials och toxic masculinity har Bara Karin beskrivits som en sjungande version av Lena Dunham. Just nu jobbar hon på sitt nästa album, denna gång med ett febrigt sound och texter om trafficking, psykiatrisk tvångsvård och missbruk. Hennes senaste album ”I changed my voice for you” uppmärksammades av bl.a. HYMN, Equalizer Magazine, Nordik Simit och Talkabout Pop Music. Bara Karin fortsätter experimentera med sin röst som tillsammans med syntarna och slagverken kan beskrivas som space pop. Up next är spelningen på Snotty och ett spoken-word-event med Moa Svahn på Whippet Lab.
DISA:
DISA är en pop/rock-artist från Skövde med refränger som sätter sig. På bas och sång frontar hon sina melodiska och medryckande låtar tillsammans med band. Våren 2018 släppte hon sin första singel ”Couldn’t Follow Him Home” som soloartist efter att ha frontat bandet Pretty Princess under lång tid. Sedan första släppet har DISA bland annat varit förband till Uno Svenningsson, spelat på Törebodafestivalen, Fridays For Future Göteborg samt släppt två EP och en singel. Spelningen på Snotty Seaside blir den första i Stockholms sedan hon flyttat hit i augusti!

DISA is a pop/rock artist from Skövde with catchy melodies. A singer and bass player, she is accompanied by her band on stage. In 2018 her first solo single, "Couldn't Follow Him Home”, was released after many years with the band Pretty Princess. DISA has played a lot recent years. As support act to Uno Svenningsson, at Törebodafestivalen and at the Fridays For Future Gothenburg event to name a few gigs. After her debut she has gone on to release another single and two EPs. The gig at Snotty Seaside will be her first gig in Stockholm since she moved here in August!
