Fem år efter att Backyard Babies meddelade att de skulle ta en paus på obestämd tid är de nu äntligen tillbaka. Efter första singelsläppet och en bejublad återkomstspelning på Sweden Rock släpptes nya albumet ”Four By Four”.
Sedan starten i småländska Nässjö 1989 har Backyard Babies växt till att bli stilbildande för en hel generation nya rockband med ikoniska album som ”Total 13” och ”Making Enemies is Good” som båda sålde guld och belönades med Grammisar för Årets Hårdrock då de gavs ut. Åren därefter löste de stora turnéerna av varandra och tog bandet jorden runt från Tokyo till Los Angeles och tillbaka till Sverige. Efter mer än 20 år som band och konstant turnerande över hela världen beslutade sig Backyard Babies 2010 att ta en välbehövlig paus på obestämd tid. En paus som låtit bandmedlemmarna utvecklas individuellt som musiker och låtskrivare.
2014 tillkännagav Backyard Babies sin återkomst genom tweeten: ”Vad säger ni om vi berättar att pausen är över? Tack för ert tålamod!”. Singeln ”Th1rt3en Or Nothing” från det nya albumet släpptes och gav en försmak av vad som komma skulle. Knappt en vecka senare klev bandet upp på festivalscenen på Sweden Rock och gjorde sin första spelning tillsammans på fem år till tonerna av ett öronbedövande jubel. Bandet har gjort storslagen återkomst på några av de allra största europeiska festivalerna, bland annat Download Festival, Ruisrock och Hellfest. Albumet ”Four By Four” har hyllats av både fans och kritiker över hela Europa.
