CHRISTER LYSSARIDES
Christer Lyssarides är gitarristen med en alldeles egen ton som spelat med Eric Bibb, Yonder, OK Star Orchestra och många fler.
2022 skivdebuterade han som huvudperson och sångare med eget material.
Christers musik som tar avstamp i äldre blues och spirituals har beskrivits som lyrisk, atmosfärisk och meditativ.
Till Pygméteatern kommer han tillsammans med den fine elbasisten Bengt Jonasson.
BABA BLUES
Baba Blues är en duo bestående av Richard Danielsson på gitarr, sång och munspel och Claes Gustavsson på gitarr.
Verksamma sedan mitten av 80-talet och genom flitigt spelande på festivaler, konsertscener och bluesklubbar är de idag att betrakta som något av en nationalklenod inom svensk blues.
Men det antikvariskt korrekta, att återskapa äldre tiders blues har aldrig lockat Richard och Claes som alltid följt sin egen inre kompass och låtit experimentlust och lekfullhet råda. I Baba Blues står dammluckorna öppna för influenser från all världens musik.
Samtidigt förmedlar duon en sorts handfast ”urblues”. För att försöka sig på en liknelse: en John Lee Hooker i John Bauers trollskog.
Missa inte detta sällsynta tillfälle att uppleva Baba Blues i ett nära och intimt sammanhang!
MATS PETTERSSON
Sångaren och gitarristen Mats Pettersson har en lång bakgrund inom blues, americana och ambient/electronica.
På senare år har han allt oftare framträtt i ett avskalat soloformat, ensam med sin själfyllda röst och akustiska gitarr. Mats suggestiva tolkningar av sånger från Delta- och Piedmontbluesen andas en sällsam rymd och stillhet.

Pygméteaterns Lilla Kulturhus är inne på tionde året - en växande kulturklubb som erbjuder spännande och exklusiva program till en bred publik. Konsertklubben, gästspel av skilda slag, musik, dans och scenkonstföreställningar. Tyngdpunkten ligger på musikutbudet; en ständigt skiftande mix av opera, improvisationsmusik, jazz, visor, världsmusik, flamenco och udda musikaliska möten!
