Makten Över Musiken i Göteborg presenterar seminariet:
Att fotografera kön - genus i marknadsföring och kommunikation, med Tomas Gunnarsson, även känd som Genusfotografen.
Tomas Gunnarsson bloggar och föreläser om genustänk i bilder och normkritisk bildanalys. I sin föreläsning kommer hen att prata om hur idéer om kön skapas i bilder, och hur könsstereotyper i media, reklam och konst begränsar och blockerar vår fantasi om vilka vi kan vara.
Gunnarsson kommer under föreläsningen att zooma in extra på genus i marknadsföring och bildkommunikation inom musikbranschen, och hur kvinnliga och manliga musiker och artister framställs (olika) i media.

OM TOMAS GUNNARSSON
Tomas Gunnarsson, mer känd som Genusfotografen, bloggar och föreläser om genustänk i bilder och normkritisk bildanalys. Utifrån exempel ur media, reklam och konst pratar hen om hur bilder kan cementera snäva könsroller och konservera föråldrade maktstrukturer – eller förändra, spränga gränser och skapa större handlingsutrymme för kvinnor, män och övriga. Tomas Gunnarsson är en utbildad genusvetare, journalist och fotograf som sedan 2011 driver bloggen Genusfotografen. Hen har nyligen släppt bildhandboken "Bilder som förändrar världen" i samarbete med Gävle kommun, som finns att läsa gratis på gavle.se/bildhandboken.
