I år är det fjärde gången som öppna föreläsningar i logopedi hålls i anslutning till den europeiska logopedidagen.
Stroke, dvs propp eller blödning i hjärnan, drabbar ca 26 500 personer varje år i Sverige. Stroke leder ofta till förlamning eller svaghet i olika delar av kroppen och förmågor som att tala och svälja kan påverkas. Vilka är de vanligaste symtomen när det gäller tal, språk och kommunikation efter en stroke? Hur påverkas sväljning och ätande? Två forskare som också har lång erfarenhet av kliniskt arbete som logopeder berättar om följderna av stroke, men också om hur både kommunikationsförmågan och förmågan att äta kan förbättras med behandling och vad vi kan lära av aktuell forskning inom området.
