Upplev när masterstudenterna i orkesterdirigering på KMH dirigerar Sveriges största professionella blåsorkester, Arméns Musikkår.
Försvarsmusiken ställer under året alla sina tre orkestrar till förfogande för dirigentstudenter från KMH, vilket ger en unik möjlighet för den kommande generationen dirigenter att komma i kontakt med professionell blåsarmusik på högsta nivå. Dessutom har de unga dirigenterna förmånen att bli handledda av en av landets mest erfarna och kunniga blåsorkesterdirigenter, musikdirektör Andreas Hanson.
Programmet ger ett smakprov på de olika typer av verk som förekommer i samband med symfonisk blåsorkester. Eftersom hela ensembleformen har sitt ursprung i militärorkestrarna, spelas flera marscher av olika karaktär på konserten. I övrigt blir det en blandning av originalkompositioner, arrangemang och transkriptioner.
