Anti Pony gör smärtande och melodiös pop insvept i ljuvligt skrammel. Släppte sin första 7”- singel ”I Go Places // Cry On The Floor” via PNKSLM/Telegram, 2014. Singeln uppmärksammades av b.la NME, Portals, Festivalrykten och Anti Pony jämfördes tidigt med band som Deerhunter, The Oh Sees och Tame Impala.
Efter spelningar runtom Sverige och Storbritannien, tillbringade duon bestående av Sanna Colling och Alexander Pierre vintern med att spela in ny musik tillsammans med producenten Max-Måns Wikman (Dolores Haze, [ingenting], Side effects, Those Dancing Days m.fl).
Resultatet är hjärtkrossande pop, där hantverket förfinats och ljudbilden fördjupats. 19 januari 2017 släpps EP:n ”Alexander” som 10” vinyl och digital download. Denna gång genom bolaget Lazy Octopus Records, där bandet tidigare gett ut singlarna ”Under The Palm Trees” och ”Broken Dreams”.

Ellinor Nilsson aka de Montevert lämnar 2016 med ett imponerande år i ryggen och avslutar nu på hemmaklubben. Vad som kan förväntas är ännu inte säkert, det kan bli allt möjligt från gammalt till nytt, från storslaget till intimt. Som en tidig julklapp som inte låter när den skakas!
