Anna Nicole har under flera år agerat kompmusiker och spelat andras låtar, framförallt som musiker i bandet Stars in Coma tillsammans med maken André Brorsson. För ca 2 år sedan började hon så smått fila på ett gäng egna låtar, först själv sedan i nära samarbete med André."Han har fått mig att inte ta det på så stort allvar och finna glädjen i att skapa musik. Låtarna blev en sorts bearbetning av min barndom och ungdom, både på ett musikaliskt och textmässigt plan. Musiken är influerad av den konstiga mix av musik som jag lyssnade på under min uppväxt: Björn Afzelius, Arvingarna, Janis Joplin, Tom Petty och Joni Mitchell för att nämna några. Detta mixat med en stor dos girl group-pop och Broder Daniel-driv. Det hela började som ett engelskt projekt, men efter tag kändes det mer rätt att skriva och sjunga på skånska.
