    Detroitbaserade Anna Burch upptäcktes av indiebolaget Polyvinyl Record Company på samma vis som de allra bästa artister upptäcks – genom tips från andra musiker. Polyvinyl tipsades av sin andra signing Fred Thomas som skickade en av Burchs demos med meddelandet ”This is not a drill. You need to hear this.” Svårare än så var det helt enkelt inte, och Anna Burch var helt plötsligt en Polyvinyl-artist. Tidigare i år släppte Burch sitt kritikerrosade debutalbum "Quit the Curse" där hon både förvaltade och utvecklade den talang som Polyvinyl gått igång på – det här är gitarrindie med singer/songwriter-nerv när den är som allra bäst.
