AMBIVALENSEN
Norrlandsduon Ambivalensen består av Sandra Eberskoug (Östersund) och Joel Rönnbäck (Luleå). Bandet föddes hösten 2013 i en KTH-studentkorridor där Sandra och Joel hade lyckats mygla till sig boende trots att ingen av dem studerade. Joel råkade höra Sandra sjunga och bad henne att lägga sång på ett av hans projekt vilket ledde till ett möte på Café String på Södermalm där de satte sig med ett anteckningsblock för att ta över hela världen.
Det tog ett år av arbete innan deras självbetitlade EP, Ambivalensen, såg dagens ljus. EP:n skrevs, producerades och mixades av bandmedlemmarna i ett vardagsrum på Bondegatan.
I augusti 2017 släppte bandet singeln, ”Allt för mig” – en poplåt som beskriver känslan att vara såpass över öronen kär i någon att det blir till ens hela existens. Det är med stor spänning vi välkomnar Ambivalensen till Landets övervåning, en lördag i februari.

LIGHT VIBES
”Following” is the lead single and title track of the debut EP from Swedish experimental psych pop duo Light Vibes, the project of Erik Klinga and Mathias Zachrisson (also of the acclaimed indie pop combo Simian Ghost). A long time coming, Light Vibes has been in the works since the early ‘10s but is only now introducing itself with a portrayal of a landscape in the state of mental illness, of being trapped on isolated islands, where we don’t speak about feelings, just keep on dancing silently. Light Vibes’ debut EP Following is due on April 20 via Fading Trails Recordings.
