Nordisk Panorama Film Festival team up with Plan B to give you a flavour of the festival in the cosiest warehouse we’ve ever been, screening Lia Hietala and Hannah Reinikainen’s debut film ALWAYS AMBER.
Talk with the star of the film, Amber, directors Lia Hietala and Hannah Reinikainen. Moderator for the talk is Cecilia Lidin- film consultant at the Danish Film Institute. The talk will be held in Swedish.
Always Amber - Alltid Amber (Sweden, 2020)
Directed by Lia Hietala & Hannah Bergenman Reinikaienen. Length: 77 min.
Seventeen-year-old Amber and best friend Sebastian refuse to let society label their gender. Through a spectrum of fluid identities, they dream together, party together, and form friendships with like-minded people. The two queer teenagers inhabit an open and loving world far from the judging eyes of others. Everything seems possible. But when Amber falls in love with Charlie, their utopian world is shaken to its core. Trust issues emerge and Amber has to face going through the transition alone.
FYI: This event has an age restriction of 18 years old. Doors open at 19.00. Screening starts at 20.00.
Nordisk Panorama is, of course, keeping a close eye on the Covid-19 situation and follows the recommendations issued by the Public Health Agency of Sweden. On the few selected in-person events we work together on keeping our distance, wash and spray our hands. We expect you who have symptoms to stay at home. Thanks for your consideration!
