There is no end to anything round, Alicia Lázaro’s debut album, unfolds like a constellation of mythical tales, inspired by ancient stories from across the world, exploring the myth of the eternal return. Blending classical and jazz influences with contemporary electronics, her music builds a haunting loom, quietly blooming like a tactile fabric of sound.
This release concert, created in collaboration with Gothenburg Film Studios and KinemaLab, is shaped as an immersive experience. The audience sits surrounded by music, light, and poetry, submerged in a dream‑like, mythical world. Sound here is not only something to be heard, but a space to inhabit.
After the concert, the virtual reality experience of the album will be available on site for those who want to travel further, stepping inside the album’s landscapes in three dimensions.
These songs are a spell, a tale of loss, and love, and shadows. They came from darkness and moonlight, from hope and heartbreak, from the myths, the rising sea, the deep blue forest, the falling nightmares. They came like prayer, to keep the light where there was none. To bring back hope when it had fallen. To ask for patience. To let go.

There is no end to anything round, Alicia Lázaros debutalbum, vecklar ut sig som en stjärnbild av mytiska berättelser. Inspirerat av uråldriga historier från olika delar av världen utforskar det myten om den eviga återkomsten. Med rötter i klassisk musik och jazz, tillsammans med samtida elektronik, väver musiken ett drömskt ljudlandskap som sakta breder ut sig – som ett levande, taktilt tyg av klang.
Releasekonserten är utformad som en omslutande upplevelse: publiken sitter omgiven av musik, ljus och poesi, nedsänkt i en drömlik och mytisk värld. Här är ljudet inte bara något att lyssna till, utan ett rum att befinna sig i.
Efter konserten finns albumets virtual reality-upplevelse tillgänglig på plats för den som vill resa vidare och stiga in i albumets landskap i tre dimensioner.
Sångerna är en besvärjelse – en berättelse om förlust, kärlek och skuggor. De föddes ur mörker och månljus, ur hopp och hjärtesorg, ur myterna, det stigande havet, den djupblå skogen och de fallande mardrömmarna. De kom som en bön: för att bevara ljuset där inget fanns. För att väcka hoppet när det hade fallit. För att be om tålamod. För att släppa taget.

Her debut album, There is no end to anything round, is entirely written, performed, and produced by Alicia herself. The record moves like a constellation of mythical tales, inspired by ancient stories from across the world, exploring the myth of the eternal return. Voices, instruments, and electronics weave into a quiet loom of voices, blooming one into another like a tactile fabric of sound, rough and eroded on the edges. Shaped through spatial sound, the music becomes a living environment, a dome of floating paths around the listener, intimately close at times, an ethereal whisper at others. Following this vision, Alicia Lázaro has not built a collection of songs, but a world brought to life in Virtual Reality, where listeners are invited to walk through and interact with the music.
Rooted in a deep sensitivity to narrative, time, and place, Alicia’s compositions are spells, prayers, and stories—born from moonlight, hope, heartbreak, and the rhythms of the natural world. She invites the listener not merely to hear, but to enter, to cross the door, and to imagine.
