Fira Alla hjärtans dag med möjligtvis det finaste paret i europeisk undergroundmusik. Det finns få artister som ordet legendariska passar bättre till. En av Einstürzende Neubautens nyckelfigurer sedan 1980, ALEXANDER HACKE är musiker av ett sällsynt slag. Vid sidan av det episka bandet där han, enligt kollegan Blixa Bargeld, agerar the musical director of the band, har han en lång solodiskografi som är välkänd hos den krävande publiken och eliten av musikkritiker runt hela världen. Förutom EN har HACKE samarbetat med The Tiger Lillies, Wovenhand, Foetus, Gianna Nannini, FM Einheit, Crime & The City Solution m.fl.
DANIELLE DE PICCIOTTOs artistiska profil är lika unik. Även hon är förknippad med Crime & The City Solution och – som videokonstnär - med Einstürzende Neubauten där hon tar ansvar för den visuella delen. Berlin-baserad amerikansk multimedia-artist, musiker och författare är hon kanske mest känd som medgrundare till Berlin Love Parade, 1989. Sedan dess har hon etablerat sig som frontfigur för Tysklands moderna konst på en bred skala: under många år har han fått uppdrag från nationella Göethe-Institutet att representera landet som kulturambassadör världen runt. DE PICCIOTTO har jobbat med Nick Cave, Mick Harvey, The Tiger Lillies, Jarboe för att bara nämna några namn. Hennes dokumentärfilmer har skildrat The Bad Seeds och Throbbing Gristle; DE PICCIOTTO hör till de bästa krönikörerna vid den unika Berlinscenen från dess begynnelse till moderna tider.
År 2016 firar DE PICCIOTTO och HACKE 10 år tillsammans.
Under denna tid har de producerat några uppmärksammade projekt, som Ship of Fools, Bada Bing, Ministry of Wolves.
Under Stockholmskonserten presenterar de sin nya gemensamma skiva Preseverantia (release: våren 2016), DE PICCIOTTOs senaste album Tacoma och HACKEs nya musik. HACKE läser även delar av sin kommande självbiografi som släpps i Tyskland hösten 2016 och utan tvekan kommer bli en mediehändelse.
En kväll med paret HACKE och DE PICCIOTTO är fylld med gitarriff, fioler och tunga beats, övertonssång, experimentell elektronisk musik, spoken word och visuals.
Så utmanande som en riktig musikgourmand kan önska sig.
Så varm och mänsklig som banbrytande konst kan vara.
