Gitarristen och kompositören Agnes Persson är en av
de unga musiker som har förnyat den svenska
jazzscenen under de senaste åren. Hon har setts
spela tillsammans med musiker som Nils Berg, Elin
Forkelid och Isabella Lundgren, och även skrivit och
arrangerat för Bohuslän Big Band. Hennes
debutalbum In Collaboration With Flowers (Havtorn
Records, 2021) väckte stor uppmärksamhet på den
svenska jazzscenen. Albumets originella
kompositioner och egna uttryck blev särskilt hyllat av
en enad kritikerkår. Utgivningen ledde bland annat
till en nominering i kategorin Årets Nykomling under
Manifestgalan 2022 och blev även utnämnd till Årets
Gitarrjazz av Lira Musikmagasin.
Med sin nystartade trio har Agnes fortsatt
utvecklingen av sitt högst unika sound - ett vågat
uttryck som tar avstamp i både jazz och fri
improvisation. Trion består, förutom Agnes själv, av
kontrabasisten Jakob Ulmestrand och trumslagaren
Ludwig Aronsson. Tillsammans vrider och vänder de
på samspelets konventioner och skärskådar
gitarrtrions möjligheter. Resultatet blir ett särpräglat
sound med ett mycket dynamiskt uttryck, där
kompositionerna lyfter musikernas redan starka
karaktärer.

Bullret Jazzklubb är en klubb i Malmö med fokus på högkvalitativa konsertupplevelser och god atmosfär. Premiären skedde våren 2014 och vi har nu etablerat oss som en god representant för den svenska jazzscenen.
