Competition screening: New Nordic Voice Short Film
Journeying through various stages of life, this New Nordic Voice programme contemplates human connections. Mikkel Kruse’s Growing Pains offers a comic yet insightful look at a kindergarten disrupted by Denmark's performance and test culture. In Natanael Westerberg Andersson’s All Has Been Said, a woman refuses to leave her car until her ex-boyfriend reconsiders their breakup. Constructing an Island by Ebba Gustafsson explores a generational quest for a haven, revealing deeper truths about inherited emotions. And finally, Camilla Jämting’s candid documentary Project Dad highlights her struggle to maintain familial bonds with her father, a pick-up artist devoted to unconventional self-improvement methods.
