Västerportkyrkan och Calmar Gospel bjuder in till härlig konsert tillsammans med gospelsångerskan Kiralina Salandy!
Kiralina Salandy, en fantastisk sångerska och artist. Hennes hjärta klappar för gospel men hon är lika bevandrad och begåvad inom jazz, blues, country och pop. Kiralinas inkluderande scenspråk och sprudlande personlighet gör mötet med hennes sång och musikalitet levande och inspirerande.
Med rötter i Västindien, uppväxt i Kanada och numera boende i Stockholm har Kiralina världen som sin arena. Vi har sett och hört henne sjunga på Nobelprisutdelningen 2021, Allsång på Skansen och på scen i flera musikalproduktioner såsom "The Book of Mormon" och "The Little Shop of Horrors". I SVT:s dokumentär Amazing Gospel – vägen till Sverige, hör och ser vi Kiralina sjunga just Amazing Grace och berätta om gospelmusiken som ett sätt att uttrycka kärlek, ett sätt att visa glädje och hantera sorg.
Kiralina reser land och rike runt och fyller och förgyller våra kyrkorum till bredden. Hon är en briljant och mycket uppskattad sångerska vid Svenska Gospelverkstadens konserter och festivaler runt om i Sverige och Skandinavien.
Nu gästar Kiralina Västerportkyrkan i Kalmar och ska tillsammans med Calmar Gospel ge en oförglömlig upplevelse genom konserterna A Gospel Night in November. Vi kan räkna med glädje, kraft, energi och sann innerlighet från både Kiralina och Calmar Gospel. A Gospel Night in November skulle lika gärna kunna heta A Gospel Night to remember.
