Singa D växte upp i Gottsunda, en liten förort till Uppsala, under en tid då reggaen var riktigt populär. Hans musikaliska bana började med att hans föräldrar köpte en gitarr och satt honom på gitarrkurs när han var elva år. Åren som följde spelade han allt från metal till hip-hop till klassisk gitarr. Det slutade dock med att han förälskade sig i reggaen och som sedan dess varit en röd tråd i hans musikskapande .
Under åren har Singa D sjungit i olika konstellationer tillsammans med bland annat gävlebandet Liondub, uppsalabandet Majestic Vibes och ett av Uppsalas Soundsystem Meditative Sounds. Senaste samarbeten är tillsammans med Partillo och Lancealot. Dessa två bildar tillsammans med Andre Roots Hot This Year Band som även kommer kompa Singa D under denna spelning.
Ni kan höra honom på tidigare släpp så som skivan ”Trod Forward” från Rub-a-dub studion med Tom Hofvander vid mixerbordet och på ”Högre standard” från Partillo productions.
Nu släpps dock äntligen Singa D’s debutalbum som soloartist. Hans stil är en blandning av gammal och ny roots med rötterna i Gottsunda och efter att ha blivit färgad av Majorna så kommer nu alltså skivan ”The Journey”.
Innan och efter Singa D så spelar Infinity & HeartBeat Steppas.
Mash Up Radio är en podradio kanal som interjuvar artister/grupper, de har samarbetat med bla. Etzia, Promoe, Heavy Hammer och många fler. De kommer bjuda på härliga basgångar från jordens alla hörn så räkna med en salig blandning med dansant musik.
