BOYS
Boys är Nora Karlsson med assistans av vänner som HOLYs Hannes Ferm. Musiken är okonstlad och bygger på snygga melodier och gitarrdriven indiepop. Ljudbilden kan beskrivas som sovrumsindie med världsomspänannde ambitioner. Strax innan besöket på Klubb HYMN uppträder Nora i London, vilket sker tillsammans med ett flertal andra Punk Slime-band (Boys skivbolag). Sovrummet har med andra ord expanderat dramatiskt sedan debut-EP:n Kind Of Hurt.
Göteborgsduon STANDARD. gör sin debutspelning på Klubb HYMN och fans av orientalisk synthgrunge bör spetsa öronen. Käftsmällar som ”Rewarded” och ”Laundry” knockar med kraft och pondus. Själva jämför Clara Flygare och Kasra Alikhani musiken med en trasig tvättmaskin, inget blir rent. Ljudbilden beskrivs som irriterad och irriterande. Trotsåldersmusik. Låt stå!
