MOWGLI’S musik är som en strukturerad lekstuga med en allvarlig grundton.
Duon som består av Jessica Sörenson och Ellen Olaison, vill bjuda in dig till deras egna universum. Tillsammans vill de pulverisera normerna och mötas i nuet, vilket är synonymt med kreativiteten. Vilken genre musiken placeras i spelar ingen större roll, inte heller vilket språk texterna tar form. Regler är till för att brytas, men man måste kunna reglerna för att bryta dem.
- Man kan göra allvarlig musik samtidigt som man betraktar skapandet som en lekstuga. Vi brinner för lekfullheten och enkelheten i musiken och vi letar ofta efter starka effekter i små detaljer i både sång och musik.
Efter hyllade singeln Closelessness släpper Mowgli den 25 september sin första EP Alaska.
