Stockholm och Malmö möts på Oceanen 16 april. En ypperligt skramlig symfoni med hyllade Västerbron och Nightmen, båda med rykande färska album i bagaget!

VÄSTERBRON
Intensivt gitarrskrammel på Skånska om allt från vardagstristess till oförstånd. Sprugna ur 90-talets svallvågor långt från EDM och annat modernt bildades bandet Västerbron av gamla vänner i en replokal söder om Stockholm. Bandets sydsvensk sa i samma veva upp sig från jobbet och flyttade till Malmö där debutalbumet spelades in. En intensiv historia om allt och inget.
Albumet fick namnet Idiotologi och togs emot med kärlek under det svenska valåret 2014 och fick bli soundtrack till hur det gick. En skiva utan en enda riktigt dålig låt även om vissa var bättre. Ännu en dag förgäves hamnade på 16:e plats när Musikguiden i P3 rankade årets bästa låtar och Du visste vad du ville göra med du gjorde inget lyftes av Norska motsvarigheten.
Våren 2015 släpptes singeln Död för mig som är första smakprovet från nya albumet som produceras av Christoffer Roth (Markus Krunegård, Kriget mfl) och som släpps under våren 2016.
NIGHTMEN
I Ekot mellan Möllan och Norra Grängesbergsgatan, Ur dimman av 3,5'or och TV-kvällar föddes Nightmen. Smulan, Tony, Nopan och Erik har rötter i Malmöakter som YAST, Terrible Feelings och MF/MB/ men Nightmen är något helt annat. Som Ramones blandat med Cars och Dead Moon.
2015 släpptes EP'n Girl for You, på Malmöbolagen Rundgång Rekords och Instigate Records.Om denna EP skrevs det bland annat att "musiken rör sig i gränslandet mellan hårt och mjukt, mellan tuggummipop och rock. Musiken i fråga är inspelad 2015, ljudet är varmt och inbjudande, som en soffa täckt i plysch, och påminner precis som övrig estetik om hur det var “förr”."
Våren 2016 släpps Debut-LP'n 15 Minutes of Pain på Lövely Records, och efter det kommer inget längre vara sig likt.
