We have invited the Vienna based retro and ravey techno crew Wiener Gerüstbau for a showcase event supported by our local favorites.

Ehrenschwesta

Ehrenschwesta aka. Menal is a Vienna based Swedish techno DJ. Her passion for music started at an early age. The biggest influencer is her parents with a Kurdish background. The political fight was put into music and her Fathers' instrument so-called "saz" was the most important element that made a deep connection between her and music. In 2019 along with her friend she started the collective under the Name ET:no where they were playing " Ethnic" sounds. Today Ehrenschwesta is a member of Wiener Gerüstbau, a Viennese collective that focuses on highly effective Oldschool Techno cuts. In her techno sets, you will hear fast, extremely rhythmic, powerful but atmospheric tunes.

Pech + Schwefel

Pech+Schwefel is the alias of upcoming producers Leonhard & Franco, based in Graz, AT. Lots of passion and groove stands behind the duo when they dive into a deeper spectrum of fast driving techno with the preference of analog and modular hardware.

With their latest EP on Animal Farm Records called "Sloppy Tape" was already clear the journey goes in the right direction.

Specific Objects

Vienna-born and raised producer and DJ Specific Objects has been part of the techno scene for almost a decade now since he began collecting records and attending raves in his early twenties. The urge to take part in a musical environment that promised an authentic sense of freedom led him to start producing club-ready techno in 2015 and picking up DJing soon after. Focussing on the more mental and hypnotic side of the genre at first, his studio efforts resulted in releases on renowned labels like Suara, Diffuse Reality or Olympian to name just a few. After some very active years in the scene and becoming a resident DJ of the infamous Meat Market crew, his interest shifted to early 2000s-inspired, groove-based styles. Therefore, his productions took a turn to the harder spectrum of techno, now putting out fast-paced and driving tunes that speak to a new generation of ravers on the rise.

Olorr

Kevin S. aka Olorr developed his taste for fast and tribal-influenced music back in his hometown of Graz. To pursue his passion further, his founded the local music group Tennis Lektüre to organize events and monthly podcasts from his like minded surroundings.
With a distinct view on music and a clear vision of his personal expression, his endeavors led him to create Wiener Gerüstbau when he moved to Austria’s capital eventually.

When fellow artists Specific Objects, Pech+Schwefel and Ehrenschwesta hopped on board the match was made and a collective founded. The music platform, radio show, podcast series and upcoming label is focused mainly on highly effective old-school Techno cuts and its modern interpretation.

Nikita Dudnik, Live

Nikita has been interested in music, specifically techno, for most of his life but got serious about it around six years ago when he moved into  Sweden. For the last three years, he has been honing his skills and  synth setup for improvisational electronic music acts. He has played  ambient and electronica performances at art events as Away From People, and this will be his first techno performance under his given name. Expect futuristic and highly abstract sound inspired by classic techno artists like Drexciya, Jeff Mills, and Robert Hood.
