We´re back for another edition of TECH042. This time, we bring a real beast from overseas, none other than Steve BAD PANDA Cooper! 

The UK based Techno DJ, Producer and label owner, Bad Panda, has amassed over 35 years of experience playing & making music – through the early days of the rave scene, the European synth movement and the emergence of techno to today’s ever evolving sound. With a love and passion for everything underground and Techno and a distinct lack of ego, Bad Panda is all about the music and sharing his love of music with others.

As a Producer, Bad Panda has had support and success from all around the globe and has released tracks on labels such as Layer 909, Pure Dope Digital, BubbleJam, Ushuaia Music and Subplot, amongst many others. Productions have been selected for major compilation albums including ADE albums and many tracks have topped a number of global charts.

As a DJ, Bad Panda has played extensively throughout the UK and Europe, including events such as ADE, Barefoot Festival, Mad Hatters, London Music Conference and the main stage at Indian Summer Festival. He has supported and played alongside artists such as Phutek, Jon Connor, Yellow Heads and LFO and has appeared on various well respected radio shows.

Bad Panda founded record label, 212 Records, alongside fellow experienced techno DJ and Producer, JARVIS, who is also our second guest of the night. The label combines their traditional techno influence with recruiting fresh, raw and experimental new UK and international talent. The label adopts the same attitude and ethos of Bad Panda – all about the love of music, passion and quality. Always willing to mentor and support young DJs and share his love of music with others, Bad Panda is “one of the good guys of the industry -- in it for the right reasons and all about the music.”

The third international guest of the night is none other than UK’s own DJ GINGERTIM who will offer us some of the best hypnotic rhythms the UK has to offer!

House genius Bergwall also joins for the night, as well as TECH042’s own Lint and the newest addition to the collective, the seafarer Kapitan Que!

Heavily influenced from the mid to late 90s Dutch scene.

╳ Jarvis has played in many cities across the UK for underground techno events and the Indian Summer Festival Tunnel stage. He continues to keep his roots firmly in the underground sound with a massive old-school influence based on his 90s rave addiction.

╳ GingerTim, it’s all about the mood and a deep, hypnotic groove. He´s the DJ playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.

GingerTim is a resident on insignia radio with his weekly Saturday vibes & regular on Havin It.

╳ A long time TECH042 friend, DJ and skilled producer BERGWALL is one of Swedens most proficient House DJs. He's been hitting it since the vinyl age with his distinct, signature, playing style. He has played in Ibiza, London, Malta, Valparaíso and many more. Newly signed to the label “Let There Be House”, no one knows what he´ll grab from his treasure chest of jumping beats and dirty basslines!

╳ From classical rock to all kinds of electronic music! LINT comes from playing percussion in all forms and with tight drum loops he bring the heat to the decks. His musical array lies from funky house to fast and heavy drum & bass. As a resident at TECH042, there’s been a lot of house and techno lately.

Watch out, because you never know what to expect when LINT hits the decks!

╳ Kapitan Que has been in love with techno since his early youth, and has since started mixing onboard the ship he commands, during off time from his work. Already a full time member of the Tech042 collective, he's ready to command the crowd with ultra heavy bass-lines through the speakers at 140bpm+.

◢ Bringing nitrous oxide (N2O) canisters, crackers, and glass bottles is forbidden!
◢ Items that are prohibited by Swedish law are obviously also not allowed inside. I.e Weapons, knives, narcotics.
◢ Heavily intoxicated people will be denied entry, and escorted out if necessary.
◢ Having no event bracelet (given upon showing your ticket) will result in you being shown the door.
◢ Leaving the event area is not accepted after 00.30. After 00:30 you cannot re-enter the premises 
◢ Corona friendly! Temperature check upon entry, and hand disinfection available. 
◢ Please, do bring a face mask (also available to purchase at the event).
◢ ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY against bad behavior towards guests or staff. Your safety is our primary concern. If you or someone you know experiences any form of harassment, please inform our staff so that we can deal with the situation at your discretion. The earlier we know, the more we can do! Police will be contacted, should the situation demand it. We would rather close the whole party down, than have any guest feel unsafe.
